How to enable Application and Change Control protection in Windows Safe Mode

IMPORTANT: This procedure requires a client system reboot.

  1. Enable the Safe Mode protection feature view in the features list:
    1. Open a command window: Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt.

    1. Open Windows Calculator.
    2. Set the calculator to Programmer view: Click View, Programmer.
    3. Select the Hex option.
    4. Type the original hexadecimal DWORD
