University of Florida

Students who have not yet graduated high school and those who have earned less than 12 hours of college credit after high school graduation apply as first-year students. The UF admissions process is designed to consider all aspects of an applicant's academic record and personal experiences in order to facilitate individual holistic consideration. The admissions review process tries to balance the subjective and objective components of the application. UF recognizes that there is great variation among applicants' personal circumstances.

Prospective transfer applicants must complete an Associate of Arts degree from a Florida public institution or at least 60 transferable semester credit hours from an institution. Applicants must also show proficiency in a foreign language. You can do this by providing a high school transcript showing that you completed two years of the same foreign language OR by completing 8-10 semester hours of the same foreign language.
